About Us

Farmville Downtown Partnership is a non-profit organization that was started in 2010 and officially joined the Virginia Main Street Program and the National Main Street Center in 2012. FDP’s mission is to cultivate the resources of our community to create a vibrant historic commercial district through activities that invite, build and enrich our people, places and future.

The Town of Farmville was founded in 1798 and serves as the county seat of Prince Edward County. Downtown Farmville has a wide array of retail shopping, restaurants, attractions and services for all your needs.
